“I had a new heat pump installed not long ago by ACS. First, I spoke with Ryan about the new system. I had decided I wanted an American Standard but after speaking with Ryan who was very patient and explained everything and provided valuable information, I instead chose a two stage Daiken. I am happy I did. The unit is so quiet, I have to check to see if it’s running. At the initial install, the heat part worked but there was trouble getting the AC to run. The installers worked 12 hours getting it set up but still could not get AC working. They worked hard and their work was very clean and proficient. They said they would be back to to troubleshoot. Before they had a chance I noticed an oily substance around the base of the outside unit. I called (on Saturday) to let them know and Manny immediately came out. He determined the oil was nothing and cleaned everything off. Checked the system and very quickly determined why the AC was not functioning. My household wiring had a problem. They are sending someone out to replace and add the necessary wiring.
